Pastor Lancaster and Joy have been at Starkey since 1974. Pastor came to Florida at that time to work alongside his father-in-law, Dr. Eric Folsom, as his Youth Pastor. The church was located in Gulfport before moving to Starkey Road in 1983. It was then that Pastor Lancaster became the Senior Pastor of SRBC.
Pastor Lancaster graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Business Administration, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Cincinnati Baptist Seminary in 1974.
The Lancaster's have three daughters (and sons-in-law): Keri Barclay (John) who live in Bethany, Mo. with their four children, Julie, Riker, Katie and Gage; Kristen Maddux (Andrew) who live in St. Petersburg with their daughter, SaraRose; and Erika Hartzell (John), who live in Pompano Beach, Florida, and just welcomed their first child, Tucker, into the world in May, 2008.
Six building programs have been completed under Pastor Lancaster's ministry at Starkey. The church has grown from a group of 60 to more than 1200 members under his ministry. He is a frequent speaker on "Radio Pulpit", WKES, he has co-authored "Jesus' Celebration of Hanukkah in John 10" (Bibliotheca Sacra, July-September, 1995). He serves on the General Council of Baptist Mid-Missions, and the Board of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism.
Pastor is a "bearcat" through and through, loyal to his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati; an aficionado of Cincinnati chili; and a NASCAR enthusiast, complete with the Richard Petty Rookie Experience at the Disney track, and the Daytona International Speedway.
Pastor Moosey came to SRBC in January of 1996. His responsibilities include the business side of the ministry, along with ministering to our senior adults, hospital visitation, and overseeing many of the special projects related to the ministry at Starkey.

He is a graduate of Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, Pa., and has been serving on their Board of Trustees since 1984.
On Fridays you will find him on one of the local area golf courses, still pursuing his quest for that elusive hole in one.

Dean and Amie both are graduates of Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania (1995), and have been involved in student ministries since that time.
Pastor Dean is an avid Syracuse University fan, a "hoopster", and budding camper with his family (and he has the mosquito bites to prove it).
Pastor Don joined our church staff at the end of 2006. Prior to joining the staff here, he served as the Minister of Music of High Point Baptist Chapel in Geigertown, PA for 17 years and has served in ministry for 25 years. His varied experiences have given him a great love and understanding of the local church ministry.
Don met his wife Marsha while they attended the same youth ministry. They now have four adult children. Helen (Jose) Escalera has three children and they serve in camp ministry in the Geigertown area. Don Jr. (Christy) is serving in youth ministry and they are expecting their first child. Matthew has graduated from college with a degree in youth ministry and is continuing his education in counseling. Jessica is the youngest and is looking forward to getting married in June, 2008.
Pastor Don has a passion for everyone to experience the wonderful gift of music that God has given to each of us. It is his joy to encourage wholehearted expressions of praise and worship for God's spiritual bounty and His great love.
Pastor Don enjoys golf, skeet shooting, water skiing, and photography. As a couple, Don and Marsha love to socialize, play games, travel, and eat out. If you see two people holding hands, it might be Don and Marsha - still sweethearts and loving life!
