Men's Fellowship Breakfast meets the last Saturday of every month at Perkins Restaurant at the corner of Park & Starkey. The men meet at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, a time of fellowship and encouragement. All men are invited and encouraged to bring a friend. The next meetings will be August 30th.
GriefShare is designed to be of help to anyone who has suppered the loss of a loved one. It does not necessarily hae to be recent. There will be man areas covered during this 13-week session, using both DVDs and workbooks. We warmly welcome you to join us at 4:45 p.m. beginning Sunday, September 7th. Cost for the workbook is $12.00. Please register using the church registration envelopes or call the church office.
Pastor's Class is for those desiring to get better acquinted with our church's ministry and will meet for 4 weeks beginning September 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room, located in the Back Foyer of the Auditorium. These informal gatherings are an excellent format for answering questions and sharing information.
Evangelism Explosion is a ministry that trains people how to share their faith in Christ and how to bring people from unbelief to belief. It utilizes a variety of components including prayer, actual on-the-job training where the experienced lead the inexperienced, and the principle of spiritual multiplication. A new class will begin on Thursday night, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by Pastor Tom Benefiel. Registration is encouraged. Please call the church office for more information.
New Ladies Bible Studies - Gripped by the Greatness of God by James McDonald is the new 8-week Bible Study that will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd at the home of Nancy Walters or Thursday, September 11th, at the home of Cindy Gleichman, and meets from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.. Cost of the book is $13.00. Call the church office for more information.
Women in Focus Kick Off Dinner - "Journey to Kenya: You're Never Too Old to Serve" is the theme of this ladies kick-off dinner. Enjoy the wit and widsom of our own missionary, Judy Andre, as she shares her adventures and burden for Kenya. Dinner will be in the Fellowship Hall on Friday, September 19th, at 6:30 p.m. Cost is just $10.00 per person. Please register using the church registration envelopes or call the church office.
Parent Intensive Training (P.I.T.) - A 3-week module on "Personality and Parenting" will be taught by Dr. Kris DeWitt, in conjuction with our Student Ministries, beginning September 7th, 10:30 a.m. in Room 306. This class is designed for single parents and couples alike to refuel and be encouraged in parenting. You will discover your personality type, as well as your child's, and learn to use this knowledge to develop better relationships and parenting skills. Please call the church office to register.
Crown Financial Ministry is a ministry that God uses to transform lives, reduce stress, improve marriages, and draw people closer to Christ through the application of Biblical financial principles. A new 10-week class will begin on Tuesday, September 16th (6:45 - 8:45 p.m.) with a student orientation meeting on September 9th. The cost is $45.00 for a single and $55.00 for a couple. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, September 3rd.
