Prayer Services
Mid-Week Prayer Service
The major corporate prayer service of our church is on Wednesday evening from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m. Each week we publish the Prayer Time Reminder which updates prayer needs for members as well as friends and relatives of members. We also include current announcements, acknowledgments, and a written update from one of our missionaries. The congregation divides into small groups around the auditorium to intercede for the special prayer needs presented. Pastor Lancaster concludes our prayer time with a timely and practical study of God's Word.
Pre-Service Prayer Meeting
Our church is committed to a ministry of prayer and intercession. We have a prayer group that meet every Sunday, specifically to pray for the leadership of Starkey Road Baptist Church and its ministries. This group is for ladies and meets in the Hospitality Room at 5:15 p.m. The men also have a special time of prayer on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and meet in the Men's Baptismal Room. All are welcome to join these groups for prayer.
