Pastoral Internship
The Starkey Road Baptist Church Internship ministry exists to provide future ministry leaders an opportunity to serve with, and be mentored by, an experienced, dedicated pastoral staff. The internship is both practical and personal, giving the intern a broad overview of church ministry by participating in staff meetings, deacon's meetings, missionary conferences, The Leadership Institute, and by constructing various ministry responsibilities around the intern's strengths. Usually one year in duration, participating interns can come from various colleges or seminaries. Starkey Road Baptist Church is one of the intern sites for Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit, Pa., in conjunction with their M.Div. program.
