At Starkey there are a variety of opportunities to develop and use your gift and talents thru the worship ministry. Worship spans all aspects of our lives, but a common expression of our worship is the music we offer.

An important part of any church service is the ability to musically express ourselves in praise and worship, shoulder to shoulder with others singing and rejoicing in the Lord. 

The Worship Choir and Orchestra help lead our church family in worship each week during our Sunday morning services. They also participate in seasonal productions and outreach events.

Our Student Ministry enjoys the ministry of our Praise Team on Wednesday evenings at the Outlet.  This is an vital time of Praise and Worship for our teenagers.  Students also participate in various other Worship Ministries and some prepare for statewide competition through Teens Involved. 

Adults and Students are involved in the Solo & Ensemble Ministry.  We are blessed with talented vocal and instrumental musicians who enrich the worship experience of our Sunday services.

 
Our Worship Quest Children’s Music Ministry is making real the experience of music in worship for children and helping to develop children into the next generation of worship leaders. This energetic program runs concurrently with our Sunday evening service.

We enjoy the talents of our Starkey Handbell Choir and King’s Ringers who use the art of Handbell Choral Ringing to present beautiful and festive music in our Worship Ministry.  The Handbell Choir is a skillful group of adult using the special techniques of handbell ringing.  The King’s Ringers are a children’s Melody Bell Choir who primarily play chords as they accompany a melody.
