This is a fellowship and service ministry for our senior saints. We have a regular meeting once a month and a variety of day trips planned during the winter months.

SNACS:  (Sunday Night After Church)   On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we enjoy a time of fellowship around a light meal following the 6:00 p.m. Evening Service.  We meet in the Fellowship Hall and encourage you to drop in and see us.  No reservations are needed and cost is just $1.00 per person.

Day Trips:  During the winter season, we schedule day trips to interesting site around our area of Florida.  In the past we have gone to the Sailor’s Circus in Sarasota, Bok Tower in Lake Wales, Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, and the Word of Life in Hudson for their musical productions, just to name a few.  We also have annual traditions like Breakfast in the Park, a Pizza Party, and the Opening night of the Clearwater Threshers baseball game.

Ministry Opportunities:

Ministry opportunities abound at SRBC.  We welcome and encourage our seniors to become involved in all areas of ministry that they are interested in.  Our Missionary Work Day and Wordless Book Ministry are ministries that depend on help from our senior members.  They meet every other Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – noon in the Fellowship Hall.  Men and women are both welcome to attend;  jobs are varied and suited to each individual’s skill.  This is also a time of fellowship and a light snack is served.
