Children's Sunday School
Here at SRBC we have a fully graded Sunday School, from Pre-K 3 through 5th Grade. Our Sunday School provides your children an environment to have fun while learning God’s Word. Our Sunday School teachers are committed to loving your children while modeling and teaching the Bible. Our Sunday School’s meet each Sunday at 9:00 am. Please do not miss out in this vital ministry to your child. You will be glad you did!
Children's Church
At SRBC we have 3 children’s church’s that are age appropriate for your children. Each one has trained adult leadership who are striving to create an atmosphere where children can have fun learning about God through His Word. There are games, crafts, and prices along with music and Bible lessons geared to teach your children how to worship. We would love to have your children join us….
Middle School -
The Middle School Student Ministry meets for Student Bible Fellowship every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. . It is a great time for fellowship and encouragement from God's Word based on themes that are pertinent to the times we live in. Our purpose in pursuit of connecting students to The Source.
High School -
The High School Student Ministry meets for Student Bible Fellowship every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. . It is a great time for fellowship and encouragement from God's Word based on themes that are pertinent to the times we live in. Our purpose in pursuit of connecting students to The Source.
Berean Bible Class - Joe Miller, Teacher. :
The Bereans search the Scriptures to gain a perspective for life “under the Son” rather than simply life “under the sun.” The current study is “Combating Spiritual Apostasy” in the books of II Peter, II & III John and Jude. This study will arm one to stand for biblical truth and live with blessed hope.
Discovery Class - Erik Norrie, Teacher.: This class is designed for young couples. They will be discovering truths from God's Word in order to help them develop a healthy marriage. Couples are encouraged to fellowship together in class as well as at planned activities.
Fellowship Class - Pastor Gary Moosey, Teacher.: The Fellowship Class is comprised of pre-retirees, new retirees, and post-retirees. Fellowship is more than just a name; our desire is to study God's Word faithfully, but also to build relationships by fellowshipping together.
Foundation Class - Pastor Jerry Busby, Teacher.: The Foundation Class focuses on expository teaching of the Word of God. This class encourages participation and interaction as they discuss the truths found in the Scriptures. The Foundation class is designed for adults in their 30's - 50's and has a variety of activities to encourage and edify the class members.
Evangelism Explosion - Pastor Tom Benefiel, Teacher.:This 12 week course is a hands-on, interactive class to help one become comfortable with sharing the Gospel with others. This class is conducted several times a year. Please call the Church Office to find when the next series begins.
Wisdom Seekers Class - Butch Jarvis, Teacher.:
This class is geared for couples and singles in the mid-thirties to late fifties. Most of the time they engage in expositional Bible study, but from time to time embark on a topical study of interest.
Biblical Parenting - Glenn Pav, Teacher.:
This class is geared to meet the needs of families with children. It includes God’s principles to help God’s people withstand the attacks of the modern culture and grow great families who will share in God’s blessing.
Ignite - Doug Thomas, Teacher.:
Ignite – is a class for young, single professionals, ages 20 – 30 years old. This interactive class desires to honor God by sharpening each other through the study of His Word. Doug Thomas is the teacher of this class. Adult Ed Room 103
Discipleship class - Pastor Tom Benefiel, Teacher.:
This class is designed for new or recent believers and is intended to present them with the fundamentals of being a healthy Christian. This class presents some basic disciplines to help the new believer grow spiritually and maintain a consistent walk. This 8-week cycle meets periodically throughout the year during the 9:00 a.m. ABF class time period. If you are interested in this class, please contact the Church Office.
Membership Class - Pastor Tom Benefiel, Teacher.:
Adult Ed Room 106
This class is designed for those desiring to get better acquainted with our church’s
ministries. Pastor Tom leads this informal class which provides an excellent format for answering
questions and sharing information. Please call the Church Office if you are interested in attending these
classes.
Sojourners - Ben Puckett, Teacher:
The members of this class invite you to join them in Adult Ed Room 102 each Sunday as they share coffee and breakfast snacks, praise reports, and prayer requests. They also share ideas and insights from a selected book of the Bible that is related to the issues of daily life.
Bible Study Group II - Jim Linkenback, Teacher:This is a study of individual books of the Bible. Prepared questions are answered on passages of Scriptures during the week and then discussion takes place during the class session. Class time is also available for discussion of personal and current events that affect our spiritual lives. Monthly socials are planned to foster interaction and togetherness.
Light for Living - Dick Gelina, Teacher:As the name implies, our text is The Book. In our view, there is no “perfect age” for those who seek God’s perspective. Neither is there any age (among adults) who would not be welcome to join us.
